Christmas Cracked!

Year 5/6 had a fantastic morning doing activities at New Life Church. Activities were aimed at reminding everyone about the real meaning of Christmas … Bubblegum not fluff (remember the analogy year 5/6??)

Sharing Shakespeare *(Updated)

Today, Belinda and five students from Bury Lawn School – Georgiana, Amy, Claire and Joel – came to school to begin Shakespeare workshops based on the play ‘Macbeth.’ There were chances to discover the history of the play, meet the main characters and hear the story retold. With scenes to practice, we got to show off our acting skills. We’re practising the Banquet Scene next week, thern we hope the parents will join us for a performance before half term.

Kianah came third at the European Gymnastics Invitational at the weekend. Her work on the bars earned her the medal. Kianah said ‘It was good fun – I’m very proud!’
